Kanye West and Bianca Censori
Kanye West and His Spouse, Bianca Censori, Allegedly Denied Access to Venice’s Water Taxi Services
Kanye West and his partner, Bianca Censori, have reportedly faced a ban from a Venetian water taxi company following a recent incident that made headlines. Images surfaced last week showing the couple engaged in a compromising position at the back of a water taxi.
In a statement provided to The Independent, a spokesperson for Venezia Turismo Motascafi, an Italian water taxi company based in Venice, expressed their disapproval of the incident. The spokesperson announced, “West and Censori will certainly no longer be welcome on board our company’s boats. We completely disapprove of such behavior and actions.”
The photos in question went viral and depicted West, who legally changed his name to Ye in 2021, and Censori engaged in an intimate act on the back of the boat. These images prompted criticism from many observers who felt that such behavior was inappropriate in a traditionally conservative Catholic country.
The spokesperson clarified that the boat’s driver had been unaware of the incident due to his focus on navigating boat traffic. They asserted that had the driver been aware of the “obscenities” on board, he would have “immediately disembarked and reported the transgressors to the appropriate authorities.”
The statement also mentioned the presence of an unnamed “third person” in the taxi at the time, who obstructed the captain’s view to the stern, further explaining the driver’s lack of awareness.
West, aged 46, and Censori, aged 28, made their first public appearance earlier this year, seen dining together at the Waldorf Astoria in January. Subsequently, TMZ reported on their non-legally binding wedding ceremony a few months after West’s divorce from his former spouse, Kim Kardashian, was finalized.
West’s relationship with Censori follows a period of intense backlash he faced for making deeply offensive remarks, including anti-Semitic comments, in public last year.
These remarks included a tweet in October 2022 where he mentioned going “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE” and comments on Chris Cuomo’s show in the same month about the “Jewish underground media mafia” controlling Hollywood.
