During his address, Prince Harry announced the exciting news that several new nations had joined the Invictus Games since their last edition in 2022, which was delayed for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
He proudly confirmed the inclusion of Colombia, Israel, and Nigeria in this year’s Games, hinting at a friendly rivalry between him and the Duchess.
Now, I won’t say we pick favorites at home,” the Duke quipped, a mischievous glint in his eye. “But ever since my wife discovered her Nigerian heritage, it seems this year might bring a bit more competition to the table.”
Notably, Meghan wasn’t present at the Invictus Games, opting instead to stay in the United States with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, while Prince Harry embarked on his journey to Germany. Plans were in place for Meghan to join him later in the course of the Games.”
